HISTORY:
Metalheads.ca is an offshoot of the successful facebook group For those who live for metal...the time is now! started by Colin in 2006, originally intended for his personal use to keep track of upcoming metal shows in Toronto. Over time the group became more popular and was updated more frequently. Matthew Kryla, who works closely with Toronto-area promoters, began helping Colin update the site, and soon made the group the best, most up-to-date place for Toronto and Ontario metal show listings.
Seeing the limits of the Facebook group and how the format could be improved on a website, Colin decided to enlist Matt Rapati's help in designing an easier-to-browse site for show listings. That site is metalheads.ca, which is just the beginning of a project of endless possibilities.
